Cancellation & Refund Policy
As an official IATA Accredited Travel Agency, Uplift Travels acts as a direct facilitator between travelers and third-party travel suppliers (including airlines, hotel chains, DMCs and transport providers). All cancellations and refunds are bound by vendor terms and trade protocols.
1. Cancellation Requests
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or official WhatsApp correspondence. Verbal requests will not be processed until documented.
2. Supplier Charges & Pass-Through Penalties
- Flight Tickets: Refunds are subject strictly to the airline’s fare rules (Refundable vs. Non-Refundable tariffs) plus airline penalty fees.
- Hotels & Resorts: Cancellations during peak seasons, trade fairs or holidays are subject to 100% cancellation charges as per hotel group policies.
- Visas & Insurance: Government visa processing fees, embassy charges and travel insurance premiums are 100% non-refundable once initiated.
3. Agency Service Fee
Uplift Travels retains a nominal administrative handling fee per passenger on all processed cancellations to cover operational and banking processing costs.
Refund Timeline: Standard refunds take 7 to 14 business days from the date of supplier approval and account verification. Approved amounts are credited directly to the original bank account or source payment channel.
